South Delirium delivers fashion from Ecuador

Among the things we remember fondly from our trip to Central America a few years ago were the shopping excursions. In addition to the local crafts, we discovered stores filled with modern fashions and products that would be at home in the best boutiques of New York or LA.

I was reminded of that trip recently when I came across South Delirium, an online catalog stocked with fashion clothing, accessories and other items from Ecuador.

The site was hatched in a start-up incubator in Vancouver. It's goal is to provide a platform where fashion designers and emerging brands can sell their products to shoppers anywhere in the world. You don't have to travel to Quito to score Melia's animal print shoes or Lira's Dottie Verde shirt that will turn heads on your next night out.

The site features collections for mujeres and hombres that include clothing and accessories such as scarves, handbags, hats and footwear. It's worth a visit just to browse the Lookbook and the Bikini Galaxy. If you do find something you want, South Delirium lets buyers schedule deliveries and pay in cash.
