Inbold simplifies web forms, reports and apps

I'm old enough to remember when business software came in separate packages from different companies. We wrote letters an reports with WordPerfect, managed email with Eudora and juggled numbers with Lotus 1-2-3.

I also remember how the arrival of Microsoft Office started a revolution by putting all of the most important office programs under one umbrella.

I expect a new online platform called Inbold Solutions would like to cause the same sort or shakeup with its collection of applications for office tasks like accounting, invoicing, inventory control and project management.

Inbold starts with an app-building feature that lets users create a custom applications using an interface that looks and feels like a spreadsheet. Inbold says all of the coding is handled under the hood, so no programming skills are required.

Inbold also offers a templated invoicing tool that can be customized with a company logo and information and linked to PayPal or to collect instant payments. Other pre-built templates can be customized and deployed to collect survey responses, build a client management database, track time sheets and inventory.

Individual users can start using Inbold tools for free. For more information, visit the Inbold website and check out @inboldsolutions on Twitter.
