Rista helps businesses go mobile

4/18/2015

The other evening I wanted to order take-out food from one of our favorite local restaurants. I used my smartphone to find them online, but that was as far as I could get. The shop had a website that might have been readable on a desktop computer, but it was pretty useless on my mobile phone. I ordered from somewhere else and they lost a sale.

That scenario is getting more common as consumers increasingly expect their mobile devices to connect them to their preferred merchants. Shops that haven’t embraced m-commerce are losing out.

Those are the businesses that Rista Mobility wants to talk to. Rista is a mobile technology company that creates mobile commerce solutions for a wide range of clients, from large corporations to local “mom and pop” stores. Rista believes that a “mobile first” strategy will bridge the gap between online and physical retail channels.

Their key product is Rista Sales, a customizable mobile point-of-sale solution that can be used by a variety of businesses, including retail product stores and restaurants. It manage sales transactions, inventory, analytics, and consumer engagement through a free consumer app.

The Rista Market app is a global retail marketplace that runs entirely on mobile devices. The app connects retail businesses to their customers, help them grow their sales and build loyal customer base.

Interested businesses can get more information at the Rista website and download the free app in the Google Play Store. You can also follow @ristaapps on Twitter.
