Rocket Boost offers fast tune-up for Androids

When my wife’s Android phone began to get sluggish and display “low memory” notices, I suggested she try Rocket Boost. It’s an Android app that promises to clean up and speed up Android smartphones.

The app includes a one-tap Speed Up button that promises to make the phone run faster and smoother. A Memory Boost option kills unneeded background tasks that eat up memory resources and slow the phone’s performance.

Other Rocket Boost options include deleting junk files, finding and removing “spammy” apps and an easier system to uninstall apps. It also offers a widget that will launch the clean-up process from your home screen.

Rocket Boost is available free in the Google Play Store.
