Tor browser for iOS offers online anonymity

While doing research for a book about the Dark Web, I got in the habit of using a Tor browser to visit websites, even those on the Clear Web. Tor, short for The Onion Router, is an encryption tool that conceals a web surfer’s identity and location by routing traffic through multiple relay points.

Some people use Tor to shop for contraband while others believe that online anonymity is just good practice.

Torion Secure Browser Premium ++ is an app that brings Tor browsing to iOS devices.  Built by an Australian cyber crime forensic cyber expert, the app offers complete protection of your IP address, no matter where you go on the Internet.

The app is updated monthly to defend against cyber threats. The laters version 5.9 was released early this month.

Torion Secure Browser Premium ++ is available in the iTunes App Store. It has a regular price of $3.99 but as of this writing but is currently being offered for free.
