App pairs wallpaper images with Bible quotes

Many days I spend more time looking at my computer screen than looking at the view from my office window. That means I’m often looking for inspiration and encouragement from the digital wallpaper on my home screen.

The wallpaper is usually a collection of nature photos of scenes like El Capitan, the immense granite monolith in Yosemite National Park.

The folks at Utmost Wisdom have taken that idea of beautiful high-rez images and paired them with quotes from the Bible to create Christian Wallpapers.

One example is a high-angle photo of a city street that stretches in a straight line until it reaches the horizon. The superimposed quote is from the Book of Jeremiah:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
