NuMi app helps Nutrisystem users stay on track

11/06/2016

Like almost everyone else in America, I’m concerned about reducing and controlling my weight. And, like everyone else, I get sidetracked by salty snacks, sugary treats and tasty but fatty restaurant meals.

That’s why I recently took a look at the Nutrisystem diet plan. Rather than asking you to track calories and eat measured portions, the plan is based on food purchased from and delivered by Nutrisystem.

There’s also an app called NuMi that works with the Nutrisystem diet that helps users stay on course. The app contains the complete Nutrisystem entrée database along with a barcode scanner that makes it easy to track what you eat.

Other features include help in planning meals that don’t involve the Nutrisystem foods plus daily tips and and suggestions for exercise and activity. For users who are not on the Nutrisystem plan, the app provides a calorie tracker and a log for recording meals, meals, activities, measurements, weight, and water intake.

The NuMi app for iOS devices is available as a free download at the iTunes App Store and the Lodlois blog has more news and articles about weight loss strategies, including a discount coupon for the Nutrisystem plan.
