Website tracks top Bluetooth speakers

11/08/2016

I remember the first time I used a Bluetooth speaker. Like the first time I used a modem to go online, there was magic to behold.

Of course, that was years ago. Now I own several wireless speakers and I always have room for more. When I’m ready to shop, I stop first at Pickaspeaker, a website run by techie types who are devoted to having portable wireless music.

The site is loaded with reviews of new, high-quality Bluetooth speakers. The published reviews are sorted into different categories such as high-end speakers like the Bose Soundlink Mini, a budget-priced speakers such as the JAM Classic.

Pickaspeaker is also a good spot to find sturdy speakers for outdoor, waterproof speakers and speakers that can be mounted on a bicycle. Brands and models that stand out from the crowd are grouped in the editors’ Top 5 picks for speakers under $25 and under $50. Each pick gets a rating for its battery life and loudness.

To see what’s new and cool in the world of wireless wonders, drop into the Pickaspeaker website.
