WordApp helps WordPress sites go mobile

The popular WordPress blogging platform was created at a time when we were all parked in front of our computers, long before the digital world we crazy for mobiles. Consequently, some WordPress sites may display well on tablets and smartphones.

WordApp, a new WordPress plug-in developed by London-based Mobile Rockstar, is designed to help publishers make an easy transition to the mobile world and avoid a trouble and expense of a full-scale site makeover.

WordApp was designed to integrate with most of the thousands of plugins that WordPress lists in its directory. It offers a simple installation process that doesn’t require any programming skills.

With WordApp, site owners can publishers their mobile app to Google Play Store and Apple App Store, include custom menus and widgets that are only for mobile users, edit CSS files to create a specific mobile theme and integrate Adsense ads. The plug-in is also compatible with BuddyPress and WooCommerce.

WordApp is available free from the WordPress Plugin Directory.
